Hi there,
Well, I finally bit the bullet and got my 100,000km service. I've got to find another mechanic, cost $330 (!!!!) and the only extra stuff to the standard service was change the spark plugs and flush the engine (to remove grimy oil I believe).
I took it to Canberra Toyota, mainly because I still needed the recall done on my 2003 Sportivo. Now I've read a lot here about that recall and decided to get the Toyota guys to do it when they serviced it yesterday, BUT to my surprise according to them, the only Recall done on the 2003 was to the dimmer switches. I mentioned that I thought it was more than that and I am a member here, but they said they'd check the VIN number as the dimmer switch recall was only done to some of the VINs anyway..... and mine wasn't one of them!
Is this true???!!!!
Thanks
Jen
