ok lets make this simple.

1) download the rar file

http://www.commoncents.net.au/corolla.php (it should automatically re-direct to start downloading ..... if it doesnt just click the link to start the download shown in the page)

2) use a program like winrar or winzip to extract the iso file

3) use a burning program like nero to burn the iso to cd ..... dont just drag the file to the CD and burn .... you want to select burn image file to CD

4) install the program to your hard drive ..... also install acrobat reader v6 .... ive found the pdf's have issues if you use a newer version (could be my pc but i just installed the older acrobat).... acrobat reader 6 is also on the CD.

5) go to the install directory and open COROLLA FRONT PAGE.pdf

6) FINISHED ...... ENJOY !!!!!!!!!!

Before I take the time and download limit to downlaod this can I caonfirm if this like a Haynes manual or the little booklet thing you get wwith the car itself !??!

so it definitely is not the book u get with the car ...... this is what the toyota guys use as their first point of reference usually when trying to fix the car.

i haven't looked at a haynes manual so i cant comment from that perspective but what ive found with this manual is in some areas its is very very very detailed e.g. the electricals & in other areas it covers only the high level concepts and general items but doesn't pull it all apart e.g. the engine .... this one does have an excuse though in that there is a separate document all about the engine in detail ...... that being said though like i said it has a crap load of detail and if ur looking for more detail beyond whats in this then i'd say maybe u need to get a job @ toyota as many many many a problems have been solved on my car by having this info accessible.

I got 502 Mbytes downloaded when it stopped.... nothing would restart it , beleive we must havea daily downlod limit ?!?

hmmm. its finished downlaoding the 500+ Mb .rar file, which it seems has a folder contained in it, with three pdf. files. when extraceted there were now only tow pdf files and they were rather small in size.

I'll update our acrobat reader and view them.... no ISO image in sight?

Hi guys. I've now downsload the 500+ Mb file, and only get out of the .rar file three single pages of corolla manual, only two of which work and are also only indexes. none of the hyperlinks take me to other pages...

Any idea whats up with it, I installed Adobe Acrobat reader 8.* the latest one... surely any acrobat reader after 6 would work...

Any ideas? if someones willing to post me aworking manual on Cd/dvd I'll check ten dollars into your account once it arrives for you rtime, costs and postage !??!

u dont need the serial ..... it installs all the pdf files so you can read them onto your computer ..... open the folder where it installed .... it will be something like c:\corolrep1\ ..... all depends on where u told it to install the files ..... then double click the file COROLLA FRONT PAGE.pdf .... walla done ...... u can now browse through the manual

This is the workaround for the serial number issue.
So what you do is do the install and copy the cd contents onto your hard drive. Then go to start, programs, corolla repair manual, corolla repair manual and right click on it and select properties. Under the Target input box enter 'C:\COROLREP1\COROLLA FRONT PAGE.pdf' then ok it. So basically you're redirecting the shortcut
