Brad!
Have you thought of keeping the stock head unit?

Stealth system is nice, and you get the benefit's of Blue Tooth - 6 Stacker, less prying eyes....

I tried searching for a guide on how to remove the centre consoles for these new Corollas about a week ago with no luck. I don't think anyone has put up a guide yet.

With a bit of fiddling around and thinking, you could possibly find your way to removing the headunit. It doesn't look too hard compared to the bloody new Hondas which took me almost 2 days to figure how to remove the front console.
DrVY
1) Remove the 2 lower silver side trims next to AC control
2) Remove the 2 upper silver side trims next to radio
3) Remove the AC air vent complete assy
4) Remove the radio surround
5) Then should be able to see 4 bolts holding radio in, just unbolt those

They got those new type clips so should be very easy to put out
Good Luck!

the usa 08 sedans look almost same as ours 2007 so maybe k'n have one for usa but you would have to proberly buy from USA ebay... or is the filter same size as 2006 shape?

Seeing K'N is based in USA try to contact them with measurments

I would at least break the car in before modding the filter aswell

And another thing .. as i found out as soon as headunit removed from car warranty on the units is GONE . i found out the hard way
