Hi all,

Just out of curiosity, do u guys think it's highly unlikely that a dealership would sell a new 2007 Mitsubishi 380 III ES Sports model after u request them to swap the rear bumper with a VRX model (at no extra charge)? haha

Does this sound silly or reasonable?

Seeing as all the 380's are the same car with the same engine and a few different bits stuck on, I feel it would be highly reasonable. The dealer may not.
JBop
That's what I'm thinking too.

The downside for the dealer is, who would wanna buy a VRX with the more ordinary bumper...
selyaT
His problem not yours lol.

Are you seriously buying one of these?
JBop
Nope, not my cup of tea. Dad needs one though. It's a nice upgrade from his old TE magna.

Yeah my friend comes from a Mitsubishi family. They swear by their Magnas. Their latest is the 380 VR-X and it seems to have good power and a traction control system that keeps it on the road quite well. Also the "sports-gears" which suprisingly shift when you want them to! I was astounded laugh.gif

Apparently they're going to cross over and buy an Aurion next... We will see about this Australian build quality in a few years (380 and Aurion). "Better built, better backed" and "Game over" might not sound so great if they break down like Commodores and Falcons laugh.gif

They would do it, but charge you for a all new bumper.
