i have a 01/2002 cascade blue corolla levin done 67,***kms.
the story starts out as many do, looking for a car. i found this particular one just before christmas, i finally got the keys on christmas eve and boy was i proud
that was taken on boxing day after i did a visual mods. eg brake calipers, and the TOCAU sticker.


life went on as usual till around june, when after a few things changed in my life, (broke up thankfully) i can now devote much more time love and effort into my car.
so since then these are the new mods items in red still to be put in
engine/ drivetrain
TRD CAI with trd air filter,
energy suspension polyurethane motor mount inserts
genuine toyota engine mounts (just as the older ones are lookin shabby and for plans to come)
wiseco custom made forged pistons with treaded stock 1zz connecting rods
treated and strenghened cylinder head by wiseco
T3/T4 turbo
cutom made tig welded manifold
tightened throttle cable for more responsive throttle.
power fc with hand controller will be here in the next few days

suspension/ wheels
D2 track spec coilovers
TRD front strut bar
kuro intake wheels 17/7.5
hankook rs2 215/45 R17
yokohama advan semi slicks 225/45R17 are on and scrubbing:P

sportivo front lip
eyelids

have new rear ones but cbf changing them yet
cadience 12"sub which takes up half the boot
and thats all i can think of for now

just saving up for more turbo bits

Hey another 03 levin owner, just like me I was fortunate enough to get mine with some work done on it already. Im regards to what you want to do to yours, i guess you need to decide what you want sorted first; looks, or performance. A set of rims, imo is a good start. Looking forward to how your ride turns out.

gettin new wheels soon and hopefully some D2's if i can get the money
also sprayed the calipers recently.

forgot to mention the installing of alloy sports pedals and some neons to compliment them. Anddddddd a TRD gearknob courtesy of a supra oh and the new TRD CAI courtesy of Daviboy

they are 1000 with kuhmo tyres and yep they are indeed 17" from tempe tyres

Man, those rims are crazy!! Did you install you CAI? and did you have to remove one of you fog lights when installing it? Im lookin at getting a TRD CAI as well.

nah i didnt have to remove the fog light. it fit perfectly
i love my CAI sounds sweet when u put the foot down and gives the WTF effect

now i just need the exhaust system to go with when i get the money

i would love to get the sportivo instead of the levin but my rolla is one good car as is. once im off the P plates here comes the turbo
oh and i forgot to mention i also put in a nice loud twin note airhorn to scare the stupid drivers but no pix of it yet just put it in

just boughgt alpine R series 6" splits JL audio component speakers and a Alpine 4x100w rms amp




UPDATE:
front speakers are in the el cheapo way( just swapping speakers ) just because i had enough of the stock ones, will be putting in head unit amp and all 4 speakers in, in july

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!
purchased new grille and the TRD Quick Shifter Kit
shifter is exellant 10/10 and u get a gear knob inside as a bonus
Also now i have blue vision bulbs in low beams, parkers and foggies
the gille in all its dark gllory

nah i like it black because i have black everywhere, on mirrors, windows are dark tint then the sills are black so i figure it'll have a black on blue look

blueblack look pun intended..

whatever id prefer having any tivo colour compared to mine but i reckon my paint so so much cooler, it looks silver in the sun but grey when it rains but greeny blue at night with light reflecting off it

well i have finally got over this and have the guts to tell you that my levin is gone...
it was the first saturday of october and i was driving to the airport, it was 8.17am and i was turning off victoria rd and onto the crescent
that is the corner there i was coming round the corner and there was oil that had been dripping down from the railway bridge, with the rain, as i applied the brakes the rear tyres slipped out to the left as i was entering the corner and i tryed to correct this but i ended up hitting the corner of the nice big wall in the far end of the picture this is the result from it



im devistated because of it and i lost 2 demerit points as a result, i am also 2000k and 1 car out of pocket:(

mate it happens, just start looking for a new car, itll make you happy. Theres always the option of borrowing money. Just make sure you can afford the repayements 1st.

Big news I got a new levin
02 cascade blue, done 47,000kms in perfect condition and totally stock. I have all my old parts just waiting for it to go in, I will also be tinting the windows soon as a birthday present in early january

Hey i got a 03 levin as well.. great cars.. and the sunroof makes a massive diff ....You got the same rims as me aye.. nice nice..
i also recently painted Calipers Fire Orange Red...Looks good....

i had an 03 levin but now i have an 02 levin
new wheels and tryes, i have the same wheels on it from brand new, gonna cai, full exhaust, new ecu, lowering springs and some other minor mods
