Is there anyone know how to replace a fuel filter for a 96 corolla 4AFE?
I did try once today but no hope. The bolt is damn tight and the canister is attached with the same rack of the fuel filter. That is so annoying. That makes me no rooms for doing the "Easy job". >.<"
Any Advice?
Many Thx

Remove your upper airbox assy and pipe to the throttle body
Remove your air filter
Open fuel flap and remove fuel cap to relieve pressure
Disconnect 2x hoses from top of charcoal canister and remove the canister from the bracket
Undo 17mm bolt from top of fuel filter and remove 2x old washers (if this bolt is tight, use a 19mm spanner to hold the filter tight)
Undo the bottom 14mm nut under the fuel filter on the fuel line (use only an excellent quality pipe spanner or crows foot spanner otherwise you will strip the nut and have to replace the fuel line)
Undo the two 10mm bolts holding the filter in place and discard filter
Refit new filter reversing the above steps, fit new washers to top bolt
Start car and check for fuel leaks at top and bottom lines
Will take a little longer to start due to no fuel being in filter upon first crank of engine
Hope that makes it easier for you...
