selling headlamps that are 03 - 08 model corollas from the US. which made me wonder if they were the same size fitting.

they are two totally diffferent headlights.... have you looked at them side by side?

US is probly the same (matrix)

but here the headlights are totally different

for example BKS signiture is a prefacelift
my signiture is a facelift

none of the US corolla headlamps will fit in either the face lift or pre-facelift .... the US model rolla's have a slightly different shaped headlight all together.

opps i probly wrote that abit wrong i mean the matrixs models are the same as in facelift and prefacelift

but ours are spearate and are different from the US models
