hey guys i was installing my SS from TWm today and i couldnt get the boot thing on because the chrome plastic piece isnt wide enough to go all the way onto the short shifter.
so im not sure what to do.


has anyone else had this problem?

just realised the chrome plastic thing is only held on by a wire. so i pulled it off and took the chrome bit out and put the consol back on with the boot folded inside so its not too baggy around the SS.

looks nice. much shorter. also put in the steel bushings .

ill have to do the cables next weekend.

I just drilled it bigger to fit.

Bushings only take 5 mins, have a look in DIY. BKS has a guide on it.
