Here is what my car looked like when i first bought it in June/July 2008. I bought it second hand, and as the second owner, it was a very good, and very well maintained car. Completely stock, and no modifications to her, i didn't intend to modify her...



that was until i stumbled across these forums.
Then the modding game had begun... and here is how she sits today



Now, the List of Modifications done to her:
Engine
- Blitz Supercharger/Compressor Kit with new Belts and Pulleys
- Blitz Piggyback ECU/Fuel Controller and Complete Wiring Loom - Now being controlled by Greddy Emanage Blue piggyback ECU
- CES Cold Air Intake Induction Kit with K&N Pod Filter
- Running Mobil 1 Gold 5W 30 Performance Motor Oil
- Replacement Toyota Coolant
- TRD Low Temperature Thermostat
- Replacement Rubber rings for Thermostat
- New lower radiator hose

- Toyota Corolla Sportivo Front Grille - Now Replaced with TRD Sports Grille

Hey crew,
Here is my latest mod, which is the HID's, i am finally able to upload them


Note: it is quite difficult to gauge the colour Temperature of them, but they are only 6000k, which is sort of an Icy-Blue Colour, more Ice then blue though, and VERY BRIGHT

it seems i have Supercharged Syndrome i can't stop thinking about it, so today during lunch i am going to go and get a quote and find out how much it will be to install and get it complianced over... Is there anything else i need to consider?
I'm looking at you Jason Insurance needs to change and anything else? does Queensland Transport need to know if its boosted or not?

you will need a mod plate for the s/c

Isn't that the same as a Compliance plate?

good news, project S/C 1zz is a go!
i have found a workshop that can install the full kit and get it all tuned, so now all i need to do is get it... this will be happening within the next few months I have set a goal to have it all finished, running etc. in 2 months time, so stay tuned

setback is alot more then orginally thought... i can't give you an exact figure, but there a a few procedures that my car will have to go through before getting it installed
we have talked that i will also require a CAI, so i will be looking to get one of these very soon as well When it happens, the CAI install will have the front bar removed, we'll take out that white bottle looking thing that sits there where the pod goes down, and while the front bar is off, attach the HID ballasts to the front of the chassis.
I will also need to get her dynoed before the kit goes on, and then tuning afterwards
this is gonna be so sweet when finished i finally stopped talking about it and going to get it done

Heya Crew
I am now in the process of getting the kit, i am going to have a talk to Discuss what's happening from here, and have already planned how and when it will all happen the plan is for me to take everything to the workshop, they will pull everything out that needs to, while on the Dyno, cause the car will be dynoed before install. Across the road, the bonnet will get sprayed colour coded and at the end of the day/2days i will have gone from a 1zz stock, to a Blitz Fed 1zz
This will all be happening within the next TWO weeks

yes, cause i changed my mind about having a black bonnet, so the bonnet will be colour coded, bonnet with the scoop i am talking about

No, because of the way the charger sits, i will be getting Angelo's one put on.

SC kit will at long last be sent over to me tomorrow, so as soon as it arrives, the car will go straight into the workshop which since its coming from the other side of the Country, may take 5-7 days...
I CAN'T WAIT!!! i have waited for so long to supacharge the 1z, and its all coming together, who else is willing to strap a blower to their car XD

i spoke to the workshop again today to finalise everything before it happens,
i have also decided to get a custom CAI made up too
certainly one of kind

custom is best with the CAI, that way you get the best fit. Pippy still has some nice CNC alloy MAF mounts left if the shop is going to make an alloy CAI for you.

ok, what is that best material to use do you think? is stainless steel alright?
Also, i might have to consider relocating the battery... we'll see how it all goes

I'd use alloy over stainless, but I can weld both so I can use the better material
