Drag Combat this Saturday @ Eastern Creek International Dragway.

i've been offered a free run. Provided i bring my own car and a fully enclosed helmet.

car = i can't use my stivo...coz my rpm limiter is still very low...7,900. 1-->2 shift drop out of power...every other gear is fine. magicmayhem: can i use ur car? i've got a better chance with your car.....you've seen or even xoom? how bout u blackrolla? hahah

helmet = don't have one either. need to borrow one.

14.8 is possible. cos its been done in uk. thats in a stock one.

the model in the UK is 3 door, ours are 5 door. the weight difference might not allow our car to do a 14.8sec run

I ran 15.6 Stock and that was dropping outta lift on the 1-2 change.... 14.8 is entirely possible with the right weather conditons...

FYI

Western Sydney International Dragway is a new drag strip so beside the weather maybe the new track can play a role in the time you set...

Make sure you rip the seats out, front dash, spare wheel and don't take any fat passangers for a ride . On a serious note, try to concentrate on the 1st to 2nd change, that can cost around half a second i reackon if you dont land in lift. Good luck
