Hey guys, i'm looking at getting some seat covers for my car... After having a quick browse on the net, I've found these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1997-2001-T...d=p4506.c0.m245

http://www.modyourcar.com.au/axs-black-trd-seat-covers-p5759

First question, is it worth taking the risk and buying seat covers off ebay? Will they actually last in our weather?

Also, the ones off modyourcar.com.au state that they are for bucket seats, would they work with the normal type of seats?

Lastly, is there any place like supercheap that sells seat covers for camry's that are quite discreet (ie not all that blue and pink colourful crap)

Thanks tocau!

ask Ingres or DJKOR... they got some very nice leather seat covers over their normal fabric seats ofcoz thats subject to your budget...
DJKOR
Ingres was the one that got those leather-like seat covers for his Aurion. After fitting them, I have to say that for their price, their quality was quite good. Fitment wasn't 100% perfect, but close enough. The ones he got were more expensive than the choices shown in the OP though. These are like the ones Ingres got:

You get what you pay for though with seat covers. Usually the cheaper ones will wear a little quicker than the more expensive ones, but that is just as a guide.

Haha, thats funny. I agree, just check out sellers feedback and how many times he/she has sold.

OK so now the last thing to know is whether the TRD slip on covers would fit on normal style car seats. tongue.gif

Yeah they fit no problem on my Camry. Only the head rest needs to be right down I find, or its too tight.
One other thing, (maybe it was just my ones) was the Velcro straps weren’t sowed on very well so I got my mother to redo them with the sowing machine. biggrin.gif

hmm, I'm swinging more towards the slip on covers now,, seeming that eventually I will be upgrading to another toyota.. Anyone know if bucket seat slip on covers fit on "normal" style seats?
