your best bet would be to make one out of MDF. Otherwise you'll be back to square one with a standard one down the track.
If you can't be f##ked making a MDF one then visit the wreckers or sign up to twincam.org and look in the classifieds

buy piece from Bunnings or whatever hardware store you have down your way. Use the standard parcel shelf as a template. Put it on top of MDF and draw away. Cut with Saw, demo fit it, sand it to perfection and wrap in felt material if you want it to look match with interior.
