ok hey guys sad.gif

i installed simota CAI on friday night.
so today i look at my fuel guage and i have 1/2 a tank after doing 100km blink.gif
so to make sure i go refill the tank and filled up 22l
so it was definate 22l/100km ohmy.gif

has anybody experienced totally screwed fuel economy after installing a CAI ?
could it just be because disconnected the battery which has reset the ecu and its learning at the moment ?
xoom
i havent had any issues with fuel economy since putting the CAI on .... maybe a buggy fuel needle.... watch it this time around n c how u go

The computer might be tricked and is running rich on fuel, how does the car drive??? give it time and see what happens then. Keep up posted.
DANZZT231
or maybe u been pushing the car hard ever since the u have the intake
darkeh
still no matter how hard 22l/100km ?

couldn't u hammer a V8 and get better economy than that ?
Pippy
have a look in the workshop section...

reset your ecu, it'll fix your problems...

Can mufflers actually increase the usages of fuel?? how can a muffler install increase the vehicle's fuel consuption how does it relate? coz im planning to get a tiwn inlet muffler???

Oh by the way does anyone know where i can pick up a sport muffler from sydney at a good price??? And i was wondering how much it cost to weld the muffler on to the hatch so i can bolt it on instead on welding it straight on?

If anyone knows anything holla me please
