I don't think so. Hopefully they do under toyota badge, because the Scion TC is absolutely stunning, especially with the pocket friendly price tag and supreme standard features.

last I knew ther were plans afoot to have this as a Celica replacement, but would be at least 18 months away as at the moment they are only made in the US and left hand drive...

I have heard rumors that the Scion may be the replacement for the lack of Mr2,Celica, Sportivo Corolla. This was in a motoring journal I read about 2 months ago and was info leaked from Toyota Australia. Have to wait and see what happens...

Yesterdays paper here in Brisbane talked about how manufacturer's are changing the names of the cars to assist with sales. Toyota has already announced that the Echo will be known shortly as the Yaris (as per overseas).
Maybe the memo that Micky_Toyota was talking about that he recieved oin his desk at work about no more Sportivo has something to do with this.
Perhaps instead of a Sportivo, we will see a Corolla RunX or a Corolla T-Sport...
Here's to wishful thinking

Scion Tc is specifically made for USA market, you won't find it anywhere else. At least for now. Its a 2 door funky coupe, design for youth and comes with super goodies as standard features, such as leather trim and moonroof. It has 2.4 litre Camry engine, which purposely fittted to give this little car the grunt of a sports car.
