Its hard to get 100 mph even with a turbo, but we trying this stuff long before the internet, websites and electronic timing.
In fact we werer converting 3TGTE's before many of you guys had licences.

This was the first 3TGTE engine into a hybrid in Australia in 1984.

1983 Toyota Red T18 RWD 3TGTE/W58 CBL-237 Ballarat Airport 1984.
(as featured centre spread "The Country Connection" full write up in Turbo Australia 1985 June)

Worst run (first run) 13 inch steel original wheels.
13.9s

Best run after changing to 14 inch BWA Magnesium-Alloy wheels, and working out best revs to use.
12.6 at 117 mph.

Best alltime
12.2 1/4 mile Calder Park 1985 at the TSCC/FordSCC meet.

Class record for One Tree Hill climb at Ararat
and Camperdown runs,
same year.

100MPH is not too difficult to crack with some descent mods. When I had my stivo I took it to WSID (first time ever) and got a ET of 14.9 @98MPH and 14.8 @95MPH. With weight reduction it should be achievable.

I really do miss the stivo roar compared to my new car. I still have it in the family but it is now stock and a good daily for mum and dad.

^^faaaaaaark...is that still for sale mate?

where is the other toyota brands can we make one for the aurions? that will hopefully get some more people out to the track
SuperDave
^ flick Xoom a PM and provide him with a time slip and he'll probably get around to it when he has time, otherwise just post your slip here, or start a thread in the Aurion section. Probably go with the second option as everything listed in this thread is a Corolla (and a lone Civic).

It's for sale if I get a good price. But I don't mind keeping it because I still got more things I want to do and it's still got alot more in it.
