Hi Guys,

Sorry if this is a lame or dumb question but I have recently noticed that whenever I take off or down gear to 2nd gear and take off I hear a churping kind of sound.

I was just wondering if this was normal ? blink.gif

At first I thought it was perhaps I was still getting use to the clutch and not giving enough throttle unsure.gif

Would appreciate anyones feedback or comments.

Cheers

sounds like the noise your tyres make when they are spinning faster then you are going..

do you mean when your goign down to 2nd and you accelerate and your car struggles abit cause your going slow? that sound?

someone who knows more about engines can answer that then lol. Go into first gear then, actually dont stay in 2nd it just depends how slow or fast your going. i dont think you should change to 1st when your moving you better ask someone with experience about that. Ive only been driving manual for about a month

it just means ur not in the desired gear for the rpm ur at

If ur going too slow for the gear that u are in, isn't that a clucking noise rather than chirping?
