Without even reading the review I thought the interior looked a bit cheap and then I saw this...

QUOTE
However, the facia is made from hard plastics, while the seat fabrics feel cheap compared to rivals'. Combined with the flimsy glovebox lids and rotary dials for the manual air-conditioning on our T3-spec model, the interior lacks the high-quality feel of the VW Golf or even the Ford Focus.

What happened to the 'Lexus quality' switchgear which was talked up on the current model? sad.gif

EDIT: Woah, just noticed CORZZA & I joined up on the same day.

Had a read of the article....fugly just fugly....

What were Toyota thinking?

At least the Auris wont tarnish the Corolla name.... perhaps Toyota is doing this as a diversion, then they are gonna bring out an awesome looking corolla and surprise everyone..... wishful thinking?

Still reeks of old Corolla...

The Mitsu 380's have those air-con dials and they are absolute sh!t to use in my opinion.

I reckon this is still behind the Civic in terms of innovation (maybe quality judging by the review), also I've no idea how they will make a sporty model out of it....
dimsim8
it seems like Toyota couldn't afford designers to design a car for a particular model because now Yaris, Corolla (Auris) and Camry all look the same, just Small, Medium and Large

and there is a three door version, so its a newer version of the Yaris

looks like thye need more than interior designers.... the car outlook is getting from bad to worse...
