Rules:

Pick the following before Friday 1159 of the Race weekend (reminders will be posted)
- 2 Drivers
- 1 Team
- 1 Fastest Lap
- 1 Pole

Points for drivers and teams are awarded as per F1 Championship, bonus 2pts for each fastest lap and pole.

Additional points:
1. Double points for drivers who qualify outside the top 15 and finish in the pts
2. Double pts for picks on drivers scoring their 1st win (20pts) and pole (4pts)
3. Picking the Toyota team on their 1st GP win will score 40 bonus pts
4. -1 pt for all DNF

* New players are welcome to join at anytime.
* Players not made picks on time will continue picks from previous GP
* Please keep F1 related comments on the F1 tread; mini-league related comments are welcome

More people might pick Toyota with that nice carrot of points . As for losing points for a DNF, I think it should be changed so that if a driver is taken out through no fault of their own, for example MS and D.Hill a few years ago in Adelaide. So if you picked Hill you wouldn't lose points because of it. Other then that I'm good to have all 4, none of the 4 or anything in between. We'll see what everyone else wants.

haha ok... we can set the -1pt rule for DNF to apply only on driver error and car reliability (taken out by other drivers will be exempt). But this will get a little tricky when both cars are taken out during overtaking moves, and both drivers deem "racing incident" or "it happens in racing" both get -1pt? or let FIA decide

I say "racing incident" should still have the -1 point since both drivers would be at fault and to avoid arguments. But I'm sure this rule will need to be made up as we go along. After thinking about it, the easiest would be to call all DNF's as -1pt as originally stated.

Umm, I'm going to have to go with Red Bull!

You would think that since channel 10 lost the familycars they would at least show F1 at a time that is closer to live. I can almost live with seeing it delayed, but what I most want to see if the whole qualifying session on the saturday, live. But I know I'm asking too much to see Australia support the largest viewed (and best) racing series in the world, after all we need to watch crappy AFL or a crappy sunday movie or what ever they still have the rights for.
