  1. I've spent some time driving a 07 Honda Euro limited edition what a great car, it feels more up market and better quality than my ZR6, even got under the car double wishbone suspension at the front with some aluminum arms front and back, very nice dash with a proper trip computer sports seats really hold you, i am really impressed with Honda Euro it feels very sporty to drive and in my opinion rate it as the better car. The Aurion feel's cheap and plain inside compared to the Honda, Aurion got a great engine that's it. Only if i had my time again
  2. You don't have to take the rotors off to adjust the foot brake there's a slot in the hub which makes it easy.
  3. Can't beat a Ford FG turbo awesome cars, makes a Aurion feel gutless. I have both.
  4. Yeah i know but when someone claims they finish 6th out of 30 Porches and hit the speed limiter 3x at 250k thats a big achievement in my books. retro What track did you race?
  5. Must of been slow Porches, Aurion's aren't that fast.
  6. Not normal for these cars to blow smoke, black smoke is fuel mixture being too rich, Take it to your mechanic could be simple as spark plugs, air filter or O2 sensors.
  7. I got the 215/55/17, still have a firm ride which i like.
  8. Got the Michelin primacy 3 st on brilliant tyre, very very little road noise.
  9. Alot of the noise comes down to tyre choice. Toyota have been cost cutting and putting on Bridgestone er33 on the later cars, early model ZR6 had Michelins which were very quiet, probably explain's why your previous Aurions were quiet Got Bridgestone RE002 on mine they are very noisey can hear the noise change from different road surfaces. Going to put some Michelin primacy 3 ST on next meant to be very quiet.
  10. I am looking at your tyre choices to, i now have Bridgestone RE002 nearly worn out Was looking at Bridgestone ER33 which the new Aurion ZR6 have, think they give a choppy ride like the RE002 maybe not as bad. Been in a Presara with the Michelins Primacy LC the car is quieter than mine alot less road noise and softer. I don't think you can go wrong with the Michelins and you can get some good deals $178 at JAX.
  11. Adjusted my foot brake today after not holding reverse, now 2-3 clicks and car does not move in either direction very solid.
  12. Mrs ZR6 has shocking ride too, stiff as can feel every little bump. got RE002's very stiff tyre awesome grip, rides ok when loaded up. 38psi front, 34 psi rear. Have driven a Presara lately completely different to the Mrs car soft as, had the Michelins less tyre noise. I think alot comes down to tyre choice, going to buy the standard Michelins next time Test's have shown the the Aurion doesn't ride as well as a Commodore or Ford.
  13. I wish there was a way to make it idle lower when cold 1800 is way too high, even after 30 seconds they still idle at 1200-1300. My other cars don't go over 900 when cold.
