  1. Well my family bought a Toyota Corolla sedan, and I can't say I have any regrets. We weren't looking for the sportiest vehicle out there, just something reliable and dependable, and I do have to say that it met the criteria very well.
  2. Nice Colour - looks like the shimmer colour - GO SHIMMER!. So you do about 300km p/week on average which is quite ideal because it will not depreciate the value too much in the long-run of your rolla. I'm guessing you do most of your driving in city like conditions which is why your fuel consumption p/100 is higher than advertised. Was so close on getting a Sedan, but I fell in love with the ZR features. Manny Yes, it is in Shimmer. It does the morning and afternoon peak hour drive and it's never been out of town, so it is all city driving.
  3. It's a Mark X, the successor to the Chaser of old. It's brilliant, but I don't think there's a market down here for it. Too small for a RWD competitor to the Falcadore.
  4. 2007 ZRE152R Toyota Corolla Ascent sedan auto Done about 14000 km, it's been about 11 months now. Average fuel economy by trip computer is 9.3L/100km.
  5. eh? maybe you should be on Honda forums.... Dave Huh?
  6. Someone in the Camry section has an Inferno Camry Sportivo. (With pics) Check it out. http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...=12044&st=0 There we go.
  7. Eletronic Throttle Control? Are you sure the new Corolla has it? I've read the specs on the Toyota website and it made no mention of it at all. I'm pretty sure it has one.
  8. I have to say I'm not a fan of the electronic throttle. Anyone agree with me? I've gotten used to it, but the Camry's conventional throttle is so much better. With the Corolla, I would get nearly no response, then a sudden surge past a point.
  9. Take it to the dealership ASAP. You wouldn't want any problems to continue nagging you throughout the life of the vehicle.
  10. Sorry, but I don't know what you're referring to. If what you're talking about somehow is related to the headlights bulging out of their units, well, all Toyota cars and 4WDs these days have bulging lights.
  11. Hello, and welcome. What was your previous car?
  12. I have a ZRE152R Corolla sedan, Ascent model and in auto, pictured at the left. No problems as far as trim and squeaking go.
  13. Congratulations! You get the nice European gauges and centre console.
