  1. all sorted, it turned out another wire had come loose, soldered all connections and works fine now. i think the instructions should have read " (target wire registers voltage when ignition key is turned to the START position ONLY when turned to the ON position the target wire registers Zero voltage)
  2. I had the same problem, could find a wire that had power in start position but not in on position so wired to that and it seemed to work but for some reason it doesn't work anymore so if you found a solution i would be glad to hear what it is.
  3. Has anyone fitted a Portman turbo timer to a late model (mine is 2012) SR5 Hilux 4x4, I am trying to find the correct wires to connect to, it says to connect the Red wire to the Main 12 volt lead at the harness (Target wire registers voltage at all times) I've found 2 that fit that description, a black with red stripe and a white with red stripe. Connect the Blue wire to switched wire at the harness (target wire registers voltage when ignition key is turned to the ON position AND the START position) this would be the Blue / Red Wire. Connect the Yellow wire to switched wire at the harness (target wire registers voltage when ignition key is turned to the ON position ONLY when turned to the Start position the target wire registers Zero voltage) I cant find this wire at all??? ANY HELP WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED.
