  1. can't answer your question, but, just for a comparison over last 2 years/60000km I've driven 2012 1.5 auto, consumption as follows: ave 7,2 l/100km, 91ul (worst 8.6/best 5.7) mostly Sydney suburbs best 570km/tank, takes 42l from OBD logger over last 14,000km: total time 386:48; 359:08 driving, 27:40 stopped max speed 137*, aver speed 36.7 1212 trips Gforces: 0.5 accel, 0.95 braking, 0.6 cornering * on a private road
  2. Don't know what the answer is, but, can't you increase the idle back to 600? On my carburetor there is an idle adjustment screw, not sure about injectors though.
  3. if you haven't blown a head gasket, you probably are OK... How much water was in the radiator? Make sure the radiator is full, start the engine, any bubbles coming up? Any sign of oil in water?
  4. getting there. not sure what's there on the bluey/violet wire though ?
  5. my YRS standard radio seems little flakey, sometimes, some bluetooth functions 'grey out', sometimes not received SMS don't auto read, and so on can't turn power off, just, goes mute can the firmware be updated ? or only Toyota service can do it
  6. I have 2012 YRS, it has a blanking plate where camera would sit. does that mean all the wiring is in place, and, to fit a camera, all it needs is camera connected to pre-existing connector in the harness ? anyone fitted a camera to Yaris ?
  7. in my 2012 YRS both ABS and skid control lights came one yesterday on start, stayed on all day today, they went off reading overseas forums, it's supposed to be a "common fault"...? with sensors corrosion? car is just days out of warranty, do I have any chance with Toyota fixing it? fwiw, plugged in ODB, queried faults, told me no faults in ECU
