  1. Hi guys I am in the market for a 2012/2013 Hilux Dual Cab (Diesel - Automatic). I would love to hear from anyone who owns one of these vehicles and who can share tips/things to look out for when purchasing one. Specifically: Are there any mechanical/electrical issues that I should be wary of? I will be doing city and interstate kms for work and it would be used as a daily driver. Should I get a automatic or manual? I have seen the automatics listed as 4 speed and 5 speed - which is it? If I cannot find one with a hard cover for the tray, are these easy to source? Who would you recommend to fit them? I have seen them listed anywhere from $1500 to $2500 - what would you pay? Being new to Brisbane, I would be looking to take the family (wife and 2 year old daughter at this stage) on some 4wd weekend trips and beach driving as I am a very keen beach fisherman. I would like to tour the Glasshouse Mountains, Stradbroke and Moreton Islands and eventually Fraser Island. Is the stock vehicle OK for this type of touring? If no to 5, what would you recommend by way of essential upgrades?Thank you in advance for your help! Cheers JonnyW
