Thanks Geoff. The unit I am looking at is the new GME TX3550s, the controls/display and speaker are in the mic. So the actual unit can be hidden away. I will look into the overhead consoles.

Hi I have a 2015 diesel LC200 and want to fit a UHF radio. Some say velcro it to the floor under the seat, others say zip tie it to 'something' under the dash. Any advice please? And should the unit be wired direct to the battery or through the ignition? Thanks Wazz
