I'm wondering if anyone's had success with OBD readers for the corolla 2004 - made in South Africa, if that makes a difference. Is there a compatible reader with app for a windows phone that anyone knows of? So far I've tried the local autoparts shop, and their device couldn't get a reading on my model.....much to his surprise. & I've tried the local electronics shop....& again no good. The device would read the ELM but not the ECU for my car. Any idea of a scanner device that might work ?!...Not too expensive.
