  1. Just wondering if theres any help out there.... My partners mother has this little carbyed corolla 1.3 and her ex partner put a manual switch for the radiator fans (dodgey job no fuse) any way i tried to diagnose the problem apparently the engine had been changed and at some stage ...anyway theres 3 plugs on the thermostat housing ...the temp sensor and two others ....anyway i found the sensor on the rear of the thermostat housing that switches the fans on and off as it should while running but the plug doesnt fit the "thermo switch"? but ... it worked sweet when i made a quick make do adaptor switchng on and off fine when the engine was running i thought cool diagnosed and sorted.....BUT i turned key off and the fan fired up again till i started the car again ....could this be a relay issue it seems as tho the relay has been wired up the wrong way but theres no evidence of anyone tampering with it....my multi metres poked so i cant check it but i opened the top of the relay up and it looks sooty from swtiching on and off....i hope thats enough info...its got me stumpped
