I've been looking to buy one of these for a while, and my budget is now enough to get one. Leaning towards a black 3500SL, but I'm also happy with silver (not sure yet). So I guess the point of this post is to get some information from current (and past) owners of TRD Aurions, if I may.
1. Unfortunately my current budget means the low mileage 3500SLs are out of reach. What is the reliability like for 3500SLs in the region of 120-150,000 kms? Any major issues likely to rear their head apart from normal maintenance?
2. I've noticed there seems to be two different interior colours, bright red and a deep kind of burgundy. Are these two colours separate to the 3500S and 3500SL or was it an option at time of purchase?
3. How can I tell if it was owned by the Queensland Police? Does it show up on the cars history report?
4. How easy is it to fit power folding mirrors? This seems like a weird oversight for a car that had a new price of $60k+ lol.
