  1. I would suggest buying a multi meter (about $20) and running a few quick checks. I would start with checking your battery and alternator. I know that you say that they have been replaced, but it takes about five minutes and you can tick that off your list (just youtube battery check and follow the steps).   2. Hi, I am new to the forum, so my apologies if this has been asked before... I am in the process of getting a RWC for a YN58 Hilux and the drivers side window is faulty. At the moment it does not wind up and down smoothly and occasionally gets stuck. The rubbers also need replacing. My main issue is that the door has an older style metal trim - with the older style plastic I would just pop them it off, fix the problem and be on my way. However, I haven't quite sussed out how to remove the metal trim without damage to get at the guts on the window winder. Any ideas? Cheers Paul
