Hi, i have a 1982 Daihatsu Scat 4x4 which has the Toyota 12r engine. Been sitting in my machinery shed for 15 years & just got it going. On my way to get a blue slip she blew up on me. Since im up for a new motor, i'm wondering how compatible & if it would be worth it, to upgrade to an 18r engine ? I'm not very mechanically minded bit im slowly learning. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.
