  1. Thanks, I have a feeling it's the ball joint. Thanks everyone for the suggestions, I'll arrange someone to have a closer look.
  2. It has got approx 100K kms, maybe get some other mechanic to have a look at it? Just concerned about that grease on the lower ball joint, not sure if it's always like this or it's wearing off?
  3. Well he did say he has checked everything, that grease on the lower ball joint, is that normal?
  4. Hi there, I own a 2012 Toyota Camry. Since past few days I can hear knocking noise when driving straight and sometimes when accelerating in right turn. I took it to a mechanic who figured drive shaft of the passenger side needs to be replaced. So he did that but the noise is still there, especially when driving straight. It seems to be coming from the driver's side tire. I asked the mechanic if he checked driver's side and everything else and he assured me everything else looks good. Today I managed to take a photo of the driver's side shaft. Can anyone have a look? Now I'm not an expert but something at the bottom looks like worn out. I'm not exactly sure what it is. Any clues? Thanks!
