  1. Hey lads, Just wondering if I can tag along for the dinner for the Saturday night as well? I've just voted for "myself" but didn't know if there was a cutoff time or anything like that... Let me know if this is a problem Cheers!
  2. Might drop in and say Hi during the "Show n' Shine" on the Saturday if yas don't mind :) I doubt I'll be doing any cruises or anything like that, but would be good to catch up with some old friends!
  3. Wow... that's a crazy amount of fuel for a 3L engine... I must say, mine's not too great either, but not THAT bad. I have the 3VZ engine anyway. It could possibly be the 02 sensor... pretty sure that's the thing that determines the amount of fuel that is used by the incoming air flow. Good luck either way.
  4. Can't go wrong with a Camry! There's stacks of us out there... just not many wanna join a club like TOCAU or Auscam, lol... As long as you treat the Cam right, it'll go on for years mate.
  5. Hey mate, Either you purchase a new transponder thing from Toyota or try Ebay. To program it up, check this out: http://auscam.org/forum/in-car-audio-electronics/camry-1995-remote-programming/ Good luck :)
  6. Don't spose you could advise what kind of Camry you're driving? The Gen 6 that Tash drives has a much bigger wheel arch compared to the earlier Gen Camrys out there.
  7. You wanna pay for the fuel and running costs of a 3SGTE? Just ask Dan and Greg... will only take Premium and chew through it. There's waayyy too much work to just "swap" the engine around so to speak. 200k is fine for any Camry engine man. Mine's just hit 198k and I'm not even the slightest bit worried. I'll be getting the usual 200k service and possibly replace some engine mounts too (wow, move around much?) so yeah. Camry engines are able to last well over 400k if you look after them right. I know someone with a Gen 5 ex Taxi and it's done over 500k... mind you, oil woulda been replaced every couple of weeks (around 3-5k)
  8. I'd definitely prefer to be doing heads on a 5SFE over a 3VZFE! I believe it'd be around 5-7 hour's labour plus parts. It really comes down to the experience of the mechanic at the end of the day.
  9. Hey Daz mate, Great to see a new Aurion! And wow... TRD FTW :P Might see you on a TOCAU or Auscam meet one day :P Freakin awesome mate... car looks great.
  10. Doesn't sound like the bulb... since it works when you knock it. I'd just check the harness into the unit's ok.
  11. HAHAHA! Sorry I dunno how to sort the Bluetooth thing out... I'm guessing you have to put the mobile or head unit into pairing mode I spose? I would go and buy a Hybrid Camry TODAY if I had someone in lycra (preferably female) doin backflips down the road after me :P
  12. Sounds like it's taking a while for the fuel to get going. Possible pump and injectors... who knows really.
  13. 1ONLI... from Brisbane. I believe the car's painted white (last time I heard) and gets around Northside Brissy. We tried to get him on here and Auscam, but seems to be just fine doin what he does. Great work done to the car though!
  14. I'd be threatening them saying you'll call consumer affairs. Mind you, you got no way to prove that they damaged the car. It really sucks when they won't even OWN UP to the damage. Makes you want to go on a rampage! Companies like that WILL go out of business once they've screwed everyone over. You should also post this in Auscam too mate http://auscam.org/forum/members-recommenda...-buyers-beware/ I was going to buy some rims through them and ship them up here... but after seeing this kind of stuff, they won't get any business from me.
