Hey guys .. My name is Ben and I'm a mod over on the normal TOC forum. I've been after a black Apexi Rev/Speed meter and have been told that the black ones are a US only product (I think it's actually a non-japenese product). TOC thread about me looking for an RSM Can anyone over in Oz help? .. if someone *can* find one, and give me a price, I've no issues PayPal'ing (or similar) some money over for the RSM, postage and a few beer tokens. The mk1 SC is a great car, they are about as quick round a track as a mk2 turbo (stock). The SC can be tweaked to about 220bhp, which is plenty for a car so small. The Gen 6 Celica ('94+) is a 2.0 engine (3s-ge) and will fit, but as they are only ~160bhp there really is no point. And if you want a celica with a 1.6 SC, have a look for a Levin as they have the same SC'ed engine and are the same size as the celica ..

What exhaust are you after? In the UK the "Nur Spec" is one of the most popular. Have you thought about a custom exhaust ?

I'll be moving back to WA. And car insurance is not a worry, I've got someone in the know. You recon it's worth bringing over a whole car? Not sure about that, I'd need to check the rules. If I was a pommie emigrating I'd get it in no probs, but I'm an Aussie moving home, I think I'd need to pay import tax BIG time ..

Hey peeps .. I'm living out in the UK currently but will be wanting to head back to Oz at some point. I'll also be wanting to keep my MR2 - But I'm wondering if I should strip it, flog it and them just ship all the good bits and get a turbo in Oz. Opinions? Full spec of my car HERE

It's not .. I can tell you that .. Compleatly ifferent cars as far as I know, but the new Elise has the 1.8 VVTi toyota engine ..

I redlined in top in the MR2 .. about 160mph (250+ kmph) and it was bouncing off the limiter ..

He guys .. Poped over from the main TOC board .. I'm an Aussie by birth and it looks like I'll be back in Perth in March .. Are there any good tuning shops in the area ?.. may be interested in geting some stuff for my car and taking it back to the UK - hand luggage style ..
