2.4 L increase performance of Sportivo

Hi I was wondering if anyone knew any good modificcations for the 2.4 L engine , I cant find any Chips on the web. Dont want to spend too much or kill the fuel bill. :P

Any suspension mods would be apriciated too.

How about 17 or 18" wheels anyone chenged them and felt the difference?

to be honest, there isnt alot you can do to get an increase the power

but remember, more power = more fuel consumption (theres no free lunch )

Unichip make performance chips, i dont know if it will work for the 2AZ-FE though...

but even so, it will cost $1000+, so it isnt worth it, for the minimal power increase.

other than that, you could get a muffler and air intake, all the usual stuff ;)

to increase the power by a little bit.

assuming you dont want something outrageously loud, i would recommend the Sportivo Muffler from Toyota, im thinking of getting one myself B)

they quoted me $400 (part only).

suspension will give the car a bit better handling, Toyota make Sports Springs for the Camry, so they might be a nice idea, i asked before and they quoted me $450 (parts only).

the alloy wheels, well it comes down to personal taste really...

well if you have the extra $$$$ you could put in a TURBO in it :P

Lowered my 2000 Camry by about 2" with springs and Monroe Struts it is a heavy car but corners really well but with stock seats you slide around a lot so tell your passengers to hold on. It goes on rails! Also put on mags with 215/45/17" tyres only 2.2 motor but being a S.O.M. If I had the 6 cylinder or turbo or supercharger I wouldn't have a license, lol.

The only motor mods are pod air cleaner, extractor, and a sports muffler. Boom without the zoom.

Sometimes it is how you feel about how you feel in your car and look not about the power even my friends saw it has the feel and the sound ambience but not the speed.
