besides sway bar , strut brace and coils as an upgrade option (plus wider and grippier wheels) , what other types of suspension work can be done on the gen4 camry to make it more less body roll and more grippy, improving handling?

There might be a front lower brace you can get MAYBE, similar to this one:

http://ultraracingaustralia.com.au/index.php?route=product/product&path=60_145&product_id=671

However the general word of mouth is that these don't provide an overly noticeable increase in handling, but stick out low enough they can in cases hit something you drive over.

Might also be a brace that links the bottom of the B pillars along the floor pan, although I'm skeptical these actually do much.

Otherwise that's pretty much it without getting into serious mods like roll cage and spot welding the body.

Well in your list you never mentioned firmer shocks. So I would say start with a decent spring / shock combo and replace some of the worn bushes. Then if required upgrade the rear swaybar.........After you have done this you may begin to discover that the seat isnt supportive enough to match the improved cornering ability

You can use Gen 5 Camry Sportivo seats, extra bolstering and still comfortable. From memory the seat base and back bolt directly to the Gen 4 rails.

I am guessing you missed the part about the shocks......No point in upgrading coils if the shocks are worn. Ideally the two should match or you get too much bounce - Hence why I typed spring / shock combo :whistling:

They are, by far better, than the Gen 3 and Gen 4 seats. I am actually running them in my Gen 3, however, I had to do a heap more work than you will have to.

what work do i need to do to fit them into the gen4 ? or are they direct bolt on ?

You still need the rails off your stock ones and bolt the gen 5 seats on to your rails. I am using them too

thats big help , thanks.
