Re-designing the original badboy style tail lights for Reb's. Trying to get a cleaner more factory look to the installation.

With this new method I can now make "modules" and just install the pre-made modules into the lights. It also makes new designs

a lot easier come up with and install.

Anyways heres the new worklog and hopefully some shots installed on Reb's Black Beast next week.

A little bit more work is needed to the inner housings to fit the new modules.

Templates are made from see thru plastic.

The template patterns transferred onto some 2mm white Perspex.

Im using white for the first set as you will see to allow me to make the holes for the LED's.

4.jpg

The half cut rings can be sat under the white plex. this allows me to see exactly where the LEDs are, I can then mark and drill with a 5mm drill.

A quick look see

These can now be used as permanent templates and now used with Black Satin plex.

In this case I have sanded and plasti primed and panted satin black to match the rest of the painted housing.

Attaching the rings to the back of the module using the melt wire method, also using this to attach wires to secure and hold the new module into the housing.

Hi guys, ive just bought a 2010 Toyota Aurion Touring Auto MY10, it has clear tail lights and I noticed there are a heap of bugs in them.
      A) How do I get them out?
      B) How do I stop them getting in again.
Thanks in advance for your help

3 shades of night shade plus clear coat on the tail lights, removed the camry badge replaced with TRD and coloured black, also the toyota badge and Sportivo coloured black.

Hi guys, I know there has been a previous thread about this but I wanted to do some research myself into it as I'm not happy with my tinted tail lights on my zre corolla and wanted something that wouldn't attract police attention.
Firstly searching for zre corolla led or smoked tail lights didn't really come up with much but when you search for Auris tail lights the doors start to open. Please correct me if I'm wrong but from what I can see the Auris tail lights and the zre corolla ones seem to be the same.
I found a guy on ebay that sells them and this is what they look like.

Item description 2006 2007 2008 2009 TOYOTA AURIS COROLLA JDM LED SMOKE REAR TAIL LAMP LIGHT
Anyway if anyone's interested or can share some light on if they are one in the same, there you go.

      Hi guys
Firstly, apologies if this is already on here. I've just bought a 2011 Sportivo ZR6 with the clear/silver tail lights. I actuakly prefer the smoked red ones as my car is black. Posted ad on Gumtree and someone replied stating that he has a 2008 ZR6 with red lights and is willing to swap. Anyone know if these are gonna fit in each other??
      Thanks in advance
