My car is due for a fuel filter change so i went to Toyota and purchased the filter, i told him i wanted the complete unit including the bottom filler ,but they never give you the right part unless you go twice loll

does anyone know what the part number is for the bottom filter that connects the the fuel pump ?

see the pictures below

Thanks for the info ,i went to Toyota today and that's what they also told me ,its $677

Toyota said it comes with the fuel pump ? that's a joke am not changing my fuel pump just for a small filter i just need the bottom filter strainer

anyone tried to clean it or do it another way ? there must be an alternative ?

OK so i went to super cheap and they want 200 for the pump ,so i just decided to give it a good clean with lots of decreaser,

it turns out you can remove the bottom filler which is weird that you cant buy it separate from Toyota

that is how dirty it was before cleaning

i cleaned it with super cheap decreaser spray it on leave it for 5 min and then rub it with your fingers ,and do it over again till there is no more dirt ,then i washed it with hot water, and just dry it with a blow dryer
