Csi Camry Interior Lights

Hi guys,

I have a 1994 Camry csi. I changed the interior light and now the deck,cigarette lighter, interior light and boot light do not work... I have checked the fuses, and i found one fuse was blown, so i replaced it and now only the cigarette lighter will work... Help???

I do not understand where i went wrong.

Did you check both the in-cabin fuses and the engine-bay fuses?

Off the top of my head, I think it is on the DOME circuit.

Can confirm its known as DOME. Make sure you check the fuses with a multimeter, some fuses are hard to distinguish if its actually blown or not and may look perfectly fine. Also make sure the globes are correct voltages as they may be the ones blowing the fuses or not operating correctly due to the wrong voltage going to them

2yrs ago my interior light played up. It happened several time I put new globe
then fuse blown. After 2 to 3 times, I gave up and went to Toyota. They
said there would be short circuit on Dome light housing and better replace the
whole unit. I followed their advice and changed the whole dome light unit, guess
what, the problem fixed :D.
