Engine timing cover leak - Aurion

Hi guys,

I've noticed a small amount of oil coming from my car engine - 2008 Toyota Aurion.

I've been advised by Toyota that there's a leak in the engine timing cover which will cost $2500 to fix. The engine needs to be dropped out of the car and all of the seals refreshed.

I've done some googling and there's a TSB for the lexus 2GR on this problem. The car's done 65000km. At the moment there's only a small amount of oil coming from the engine (a couple of drops per night). How long can I leave this before getting it fixed? $2.5k is a lot of money for a car I only bought 6months ago second hand...
