Lowering an aurion

Recommended Posts

Hi guys I recently purchased some 19" ox rims for my at-x.

I'm currently looking at what prices people have got for getting there aurion lowered.

So far I've Been told $400 by the tyre professionals and $500 by pedders.

Obviously I'm gonna go for $400 but I've been told buying your own springs and get someone to put them on might work out cheaper.

Does anyone know any good places that lower cars in Vic that do a good job?

Or anyone selling springs?

Thanks in advance.

I'm looking at getting some OX wheels as well. If you don't mind me asking, what's the quality like and have you noticed any difference in ride with them in comparison to the stock wheels?

4k plus for a good bag system. The BC coilover Auden is referring to are actually $980 on sale ATM on eBay prolly you best bet or you could get some lowered king springs for around $200-300 but the coils is a much better ride and are 4 way adjustable.

Don't know much about OX sorry

depends what you have your spring rate and dampness set at, mine how it is now is pretty much, if not better ride quality than the lowered springs

Like Aiden says man, depends what u want. BC run 4kg at the rear, I thought there were great for day to day driving and gives you enough low. I'm running DGR's ATM with a 7kg rear spring rate, a bit rougher but I like my hills runs :)

Coming from a previous modified civic, I've had kings springs, found that they were good, however once I moved over to the BC coil overs, I will straight out say that I'll never go back to springs, made my civic hug the ground as compared to looking good with a little bit of performance, worth it spending the extra cash in coil overs
