Best Colour For A Aurion Sx6

Hi Guys

I Am About to buy a Sx6 and i cant finalize the colour . i like the reflex blue but not sure i want it or not :-D please suggest to me your colour choices and also why u like it Thankssss

I like the darker colours on the new Sportivos, it makes the bottom black plastic bits blend better.

100% with Harlo on this... Personally for me there's way too much and sections are way to big of the black plastic panels on the front and rear bumper area. For this reason i prefer the look of the standard Aurion. Have you considered the Presara?

Even if your mind is made up on a ZR6, black definitely blends those plastic areas almost perfectly. White makes em stand out like dogs balls - If i was buyin white i'd be plastidippin/paintin the panels in white.

You mentioned the reflex blue - which i also lov - but the black looks like it has no place on there for mine. I've mentioned on other threads that Toyota woulda been better off colour coding the panels the same as the car - and thats another option for you too.

Just my opinion.

Lukieee... Haha... I like the Graphite or whatever colour yours is... black plastic looks better there but it still consider tryin gun-metal plastic dip on it to try it out... cheap experiment at the worst.

I got an 2010 black zr6 which just got resprayed yesterday. It's a nice color but for some reason I'm drawn to white with black rims, times, etc. @defyant is driving around how I imagined my Aurion to be like before I bought one.

But in saying that, I was thinking of respraying it a candy apple red or a metallic red maybe towards end of the year

Well as far as my thoughts my display pic answers my preference...

But i had laugh just a lil when i read you went from thinkin about B&W style to talkin about cherry red.

Just worlds apart is all - though i like seein cars on the road with non factory paint - as long as its done right.

And there's that consensus about red paint havin the least amount of life in it - but i guess even that depends on how you treat it.

Also, wonder if the OP actually bought a car?

I've got the Wildfire Red SX6, awesome colour, I love it!

& I asked about the Red paint having less life and the guy that sold me the car was sure that Toyota have changed the base/type of paint they use and the Red will last just as long as the others.

I gotta admit the first time I even considered getting an Aurion was after seeing a blue one. It was a stocky but it just looked hot

      I'd be surprised if they expect you to pay for it as it is a recall issue. Glad it's been checked out before it's too late though.

      Fusible link has blown out twice

      Any one had any experience with fusible links blowing out. Auto electrician replaced one fusible link today bc and after driving it for 1/2 hour the plastic has melted and the link red hot. It is the blue link in the set. Any suggestion?

      Hilux 2008 4x4- manual jumping out of 1st gear

      Hi just wondering if anyone would know why my gearbox is jumping out of 1st gear, it engages into first but before I can change to 2nd gear it sometimes jumps back to neutral.

      Oil Pipe Leak

      I just had my Aurion ATX 2010 in for service today and received a call regarding oil cooling pipe has a prick hole and car is deemed not safe to drive till replaced. Service department bloke said they are taking photos and sending of for Warranty and awaiting a reply if it will be replaced at their cost or mine. I was informed it was picked up during service in 2020 and deemed safe? I will keep you updated on the outcome. my car has always been serviced at Toyota and only has 209,900 Kim’s

      Swapping hiace motors

      Hi there, bit of background, I’ve got a 2003 Toyota hiace lwb that has a good motor but the shell is dead, and a 1993 Toyota hiace commuter extra long wheel base that has a dead motor. Both diesel, 1993 is 2.4L engine, 2003 I’m not 100% but I believe it’s also a 2.4L engine So my question is does anybody know if the 2003 motor would fit in the 1993 hiace commuter.

      Brake issues with 2024 Corolla Cross Hybrid

      Hi all, trying to get some opinion/feedback on what I recently observed on my Corolla Cross. It happened on the last two trips where the car made noise, I feel some vibration/rattling when I was braking. It lasts for 1 or 2 seconds. I kind of felt the tires skid but I am not sure if that's what actually happened. And I, again kind of, felt that it was the right side tires. Or at least the noise coming from the right side. But it could be just because I was driving and obviously sit on the right side of the car. In those 2 trips, it happened in 4 occasions. And it wasn't abrupt or hard braking, just normal slowing down. I wonder if this is a known issues ... or if anyone with the same car experience the same or similar issues. Thank you.

      IAC for 1997 Camry Vienta (3vzfe)

      Aisan (not to be confused with Aisin by the way) has been an OEM supplier for Toyota carburetor, throttle-body and fuel-injection components since the '60s. Unlike Denso and Aisin though, they're not actually part of the Toyota Group (but Toyota does have a financial interest in them)
