No, but check the plastic panel next to the handbrake pedal against the driveshaft. Mine rattled until i stuffed some packing between it and the body. Maybe your sound is being deferred.

I've noticed a rattle noise (sounds like a loose fixing) coming from the rhs corner of the dash between the windscreen and dash. Might be in pillar or speaker. Toyota are looking at it on Monday for me, as well as a rattle from underneath, also on rhs that sounds like a panel. The first is at 100kmph+ but the other is 60kmph. Both very annoying!

I'll let you know if they can sort it.

I am recently experiencing the same RHS dash/windscreen rattle early on travelling but seems to go away, also very annoying be glad to hear if someone comes up with a solution.

The panel near the foot parking brake is not the issue this time I resolved that one early in the history of my vehicle

I took the Kluger straight back to the dealer to get these problems fixed. They took it over to the Toyota service dept and fixed the rattle in the dash in a day. Apparently it was a loose fixing that needed to be tightened and glued? Anyway, it worked and the car is now rattle free. The panel rattle problem I had has disappeared.

I'm sorry I can't give you more details but my info was third-hand...

Thanks

more details would be handy, mine is intermittent so not urgent at this time, I have checked around the windscreen and the plastic cowling below the screen but unable to find anything obvious.

Cheers

I had a number of rattles during first 12 months a KXS 2007 model. I found that other models/cars had same as I hired a few whilst interstate. Its a common fault in Klugers in my experience and he dealer should be able to fix under warranty just "claim' that other cars have a similar issue. They put sound deeding wrap around varying parts

I have a Toyota Kluger Altitude bought in Nov 2012 and it has some issues which I have reported to Toyota already.

From last year I have been telling them that there seems to be a clicking sound emerging from the sunglass holder while driving which is in a fixed housing which has inside light control mounting and the sunroof control. Toyota has been ignoring this ever since and now its really annoying and finally today they admitted that there is a clicking sound coming out from the housing.

Did anyone noticed this ?
