ZRE152- What mods should I do?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

As some of you may have read, I am new here and new to modding. I have had a look though some of the threads showing of your cars and its given me some inspiration. I have changed the stock head unit and also added a reverse camera, but I think that was kind of an impulse buy as I'm now looking at adding the 2014 zre182 head unit along with its steering wheel (if thats possible).

Where should I start with modding?

I know I want to add fog lights at some stage but as far as anything else goes I have no idea.

Also quick question if anyone knows the answer:

What is more cost effective

getting a brand new rear bumper and painting and installing?

repairing the paint work on the bumper currently on my car

OR

gettting a used bumper from a wreckers and installing it myself, therefore no paint needed?

Any in put is appreciated

Forgive my ignorance- I had to google what a sway bar is . I may be wrong, but that seems like something for someone who is really into cars..... I'm not quite there yet and want to start off small.

First before I do anything I have to get my rear bumper repair and my drivers door- was hit by a trolley guy at a shopping centre.

I want to be able to mod my car but make it look stock at the same time. I want to change the wheels and head unit

Thanks for your input.....keeps the ideas coming

hey,

it depends on what you what to achieve out of it all? handling? looks?

Handling you can go upgrade suspension; coilovers, front strut bar, rear sway and what not.

looks you can get lip kits, upgrade tail lights, wheels.. I have modellista rear skirt and TRD front lip on mine. I have a spare TTE rear skirt in my garage if you want to buy that :P

For now I'm just going for looks. I wanted to keep focus on the interior for now as I've just had a head unit and front speakers installed. I'm looking at getting a push button start kit installed then not too sure how much more mods can be done to the interior. It will be on to the exterior once I get my rear bumper fixed/replaced. Definitely need to do something about my wheels, they are currently some el cheapo hub caps. I've been eyeing off the atlas rim. I wanted to keep it somewhat looking stock on the outside
