Need help; issue with car electrical system

Hi, I have a 2010 hilux 3l turbo diesel manual trans

I've had issues with my car battery and also my tail lights. The battery issue might be because that it's 4 years old. the issue with the tail lights was they would continue to blow about a week after changing the bulbs.

So I bought a set of led lights which I put in. They worked good except for the indicators.

While I was putting them in my indicators stopped working. I checked the fuses and none are blown. When I finished I had a flat battery (I was checking the lights while installing) this morning I jumped the battery with the leads. none of my electrical stuff was working; radio, speedometer, windows lights everything

The turbo also felt like it had cut out. The engine was off (issue with computer?)...

I put a new $250 battery intoday. That fixed all the engine issues etc but the electrical stuff is still out.

Is there a circuit breaker / switch I need to reset?

// is there a way to reset electrical system if it stops working?

Thx

The old battery was prob letting you alternator voltage get too high by not loading it enough. That would blow the globes quickly. overvoltage on flasher relays might be an issue, blown/weak fuses are possible from excess currents from overvoltage. You could have damaged/stressed your EMU too. it's possible you can sort it, but everything involving transistors or diodes in the car needs to be checked and proven ok, especially anything digital. A volt here or there may not sound much, but when it means that power dissipated as heat exceeds/nearly exceeds device maximum capacity then it becomes critical. That said, there are devices the are damaged if excess voltage is applied by the component puncturing through from excess electrostatic stress, rather than melting from excess heat.
