1997 Camry CSi ABS? Or any other good mods?

Hey Guys. So I'm wondering if it's possible to fit ABS from a CSX camry onto a CSi? If so, does anyone have any ideas about what might be involved in achieving this? Also, irrespective of whether that's possible or not, does anyone know of any other parts that might be able to be swapped over from the CSX to the CSi, just to make the car a little nicer? Or does anyone know of any good performance/handling mods? Or any other good ideas? Etc. Thanks in advance!

The bases are very much the same, I see no reason why you could not do the conversion provided you obtain all the necessary components.

Do you reckon I'd need a new loom, ECU, etc?

Most likely. Couldn't see it being worth the hassle. The front hubs need to be swapped over to take the sensors and I think CV's also as they have the teeth to activate the sensor.

Considering how cheap these are, you'd be better off just buying a higher spec model. My V6 Manual Conquest with cruise and Towbar cost me $500 at a damaged vehicle auction with 170'000 on the odo. Repairs took less than an hour, it breezed through the inspection and was on the road with rego for under a grand,

Better off to buy a higher spec model, the wiring isn't the same between grades...I have all the components for power windows but it's not plug and play at all so I assume running gear would be the same
