Tubs interchange easily ONLY across same series/body styles. d'cab tubs on s'cab chassis needs an extra pair of front mounts-the welds HAVE to be engineer certified and DOT inspected.

somewhere between those years is a body style change AFAIR. Stay on one side of it and all's well. Prob around sept.98 with style change comes a new designation LNxxxR. Later 98 LN147R's have the 5L motor, the earlier ones are 3L, and not LN147R's I believe.
