Toyota Aurion Super Low & Low King Springs?

Hey Guys!

First of many posts i am sure, i was looking at lowering my Aurion. and so far i have found two sets of King Springs for it.

King Springs 'Low' for a 30mm Drop and King Springs 'Super Low' for a 50mm Drop

I have lowered countless cars in the past, and most use Super Lows to get a good ride height without losing practicality. But ive never lowered an Aurion before. Most of the people on this page have used the 'Low' springs from what i can tell, but no one has written the height specs of their springs so i cant confirm.

Looks like a 30mm Drop will bring the rear end down in line with the top of the stock 16" tire, and the front will be around 2cm off the tire? (as per normal with most cars)

If it was a commodore or ford, then super low for sure, does the same stand for the aurion?

My question is, what springs do you run in your car? how low does it sit and does it really ruin the ride and curb mounting ability that much? Its the same price for "low' or 'super' so i might as well buy once and get the ones i want.

measuring it up, the 50mm drop looks really nice but i cant see the car getting over any curbs or drive ways. 30mm is lower than stock but 90% of people wouldn't even know that the car is on lowered springs..

Surely someone on here has tried either the 30mm or 50mm drop? unless your all rocking the stock springs ;)

We have two camry's in the family, one has 30mm low Kings. Looks good with 20" wheels and the other has 50mm super lows front and 70mm ultra lows rears on 19" wheels. Sits a bit higher at the front with the super and ultra low combo, I believe the aurion's sit the same.

What's the ride like on the super lows, does it feel like a go cart? Can you get around the city and over speed bumps without issues?

I once had the king SL springs (front and rear) in my '08 prodigy with stock standard shockers on 18" wheels (235/40 rubber), found it stupidly low, so I had to remove them. I'm thinking of a 20" wheel at some stage but for now on 18s, It's too low. I think If you have standard 16" or 17" wheels, you should be OK given the bigger over-all rolling diameter.

For reference, this is how mine looked..

Over $2000 to supply and fit standard height springs? Thats about $400 an hour for labor.....

I have king low with 245/45/18. The tyre diameter is larger than stock. The top of the rear tyre is slightly hidden if I get down level with it. The top of the front is visable just
