Replaced reverse light problem?

Hey guys. Replaced the reverse lights on my Storm Trooper (2008 Sportivo SX-6) with LED and soon after I got the VSC, Traction Control, Engine Lights and ! triangle light. I am an apprentice mechanic so I did the basic look over of the car incase it was a coincidence and there was actually a problem but from what I can gather. I've ****** something off with the new LED bulbs. The revers Icon in the cluster sporadically flashes with the indicators as well. Is anyone able to provide some sort of explanation as it would be greatly appreciated!

Do the LEDs have resistors in them?

Did you install a bulb with the correct base?

Yeah I rookied it hard core and did zero research before firing them. I've spoken to a Toyota mechanic who has said there is a good chance that it is aggravating a control unit which believes that the bulbs are dead because of the lack of resistance. Let this serve as a warning to others!

Well then I won't be doing that then haha.

You can get the error free LEDs on eBay, I got a few for the interior lights but haven't found any that I personally like for reverse lights.

Having said that I live out bush so I need something a bit brighter
