2003 Toyota Camry Altise (2.4 2AZFE) lowering question

Hi all,

Has anyone ever lowered one of these cars before by using lowering springs? If so can you get away with super lows without having to shorten the struts to keep them captive or even just lows?

Also does anyone know if the sportivo springs and struts etc are the same?

Thanks in advance!

There are a few members that have, however they are no longer very active on the forums.

Thanks for that, on a pretty limited budget at the moment so won't be for a while yet just need to work out if it's viable because if the struts need modified then it's an extra cost and time without a vehicle want to do it legally and safely.

sportivo springs/struts do not lower the car, they just have slightly stiffer springs.

not sure about springs as people usually get coilovers; if you are getting springs, get the one that is specifically made for ACV36 not ACV30, or you could drop by your local pedders and check if they got some springs there or something

edit: hmm.. didnt see your profile there with the non-au, are you from NZ by any chance ?
