Kluger 19" Alloys on an Aurion/Camry

Were the fronts always sitting that low? Or did they take a while to settle.

I just put kluger rims and super/ultra low king springs on my camry and the front still sits pretty high compared to the back. I'm just hoping they settle down soon.

I have the same problem and they are 18 months old. My rear springs are almost a 80mm drop now, so I have added load carriers in the rear that raise it about 20mm but still needs another 10-15mm. I find king springs will take 7-14 days to settle and will continue to settle more over time. I know some people run super lows in the front and lows in the back, this is what I'm looking at doing.

King lows 25-30 mm lower than std

King super lows 40-50 mm lower than std

King ultra lows 60-70 mm lower than std

anyone fit the trd rims on a Camry. Would they need to change tyres from factory to get the speedo right on a 07 camry. Factory is 245/35/19

There's about 5-6 kph diff between 245/35/19 and a 245/40/19. Ill be fitting 245/40/19 to my Camry like Phil did to his aurion to get the speedo right.

So after months of looking eBay, gumtree, forums and so on I've finally found a set of factory rims. Had my heart set on the 5 spoke kluger rims but couldn't get at a good price seeing I'm looking at over 1000g just to replace tyres so here it is

Great score, I would have thought TRD wheels would be harder to get than klugers. With some lower springs you'll be rolling sweet.

I've been on the phone to king springs today and they say that the rear springs are super lows not ultra lows. Online catalog is wrong and king springs will be updating that soon. King springs also said from the centre of the wheel to the top of the guard will be about 360mm for the front and about 350mm for the rear with a empty boot (no subs etc) and no tow bar. So I'm going to order king lows and see how that works out. The other option is to order custom front springs from K-Mac, guessing about 60mm lower than std would be right to match the rear super low king springs but as I have a pig of a drive way this probably isn't a option for me. Today I had the 225/35/19 tyres replaced with 245/40/19 Falken PT722. I've had to roll the rear guards because of the super low king springs, still getting a little guard rub over big bumps but the rear shocks are passed there use by date. I'm hoping new shocks will help this, if not I'll replace the rear king super lows with king lows. Over all I'm happy with the Falkens, a lot less road noise than the old Achilles.

225/40/19 and 235/40/19 will be a good fit as they will give close to same speedo reading as do the 245/40/19 i have just bought to put on 19x8 wheels

Tyres are 225/35/19 but will soon be changing to 235/40/19 to get the speedo right.

I'm using king springs for now, super low front and ultra low rear.

The FPV wheels bolt straight on but you will need a plastic ring made to centre the wheel on the hub/brake disk.

Kluger tyres are way off in size that a Aurion or Camry can use safely, I can only see bad things happening if you did.

I don't think they'd even fit in the wheel wells. If they do, good luck steering!

I'm getting my Kluger alloys machined tomorrow, I'll be going from a +35 off set to a +39 off set. I'm doing this cos I'm getting a lot of tyre rub (front & rear) when I have some fun with roundabouts. As some will know I'm running super low King springs and Kluger front brake upgrade. Can any one see a problem with this that I might have missed.

In the end 4.5mm was machined off. Alliance Rim Repairs charged me $308 and that included removing and refitting tyres and a balance. Great result with on more rubbing, winning.

Post some pics of how it looks like with the new offset mate! Here's another pic of the Aurion with the Kluger wheels and Kumho 245/40/R19 tyres. Since my previous posts in this thread I've replaced the rear springs with King Springs standard height and no longer have issues with scrubbing even with a full load of passengers and cargo. This solution may not be effective over time due to the springs wearing out but I'm happy for now.

I picked up a set of pedders adjustable coil overs tonight, they've had about 18 months use and still look new. I payed $500 for all 4 corners of goodness. I'll post some pics in a few weeks once l've fitted and had wheel alignment.
