Toyota Kluger 2015 - Toyota Link issues

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a 2015 Kluger GXL and had some of the toyota accessories installed a week or so after pickup as they weren't ready yet.

The accessories installed were front parking sensors, tow bar, roof racks and tinting.

When i picked up the car, all the toyota link services worked fine (weather, fuel finder, local search etc), however after the accessories have been installed it seems that the Kluger can no longer use the GPS from my phone, so the services like fuel finder and local search just default to me being in Melbourne.

I've taken it back to Toyota for it's 1000km service, and called the Toyota link hotline but there doesn't appear to be anyone who knows what the issue is.

I've tried removing the battery for over half an hour, i've reinstalled the iPhone app, i've deleted all the personal data from the Kluger's media unit and setup everything from scratch but nothing has made any difference.

Any assistance would be great.

I have same issue, my default location now shows Melbourne after installing the Blind Spot monitor, Earlier it used work normal. I get all Melbourne Petrol pump for fuel finder... Very frustrating

I found the issue. The GPS antennae cable needs to be plugged back in. Get them to do it at your next service or take it back to who installed the blind spot monitors

Hi Andrew, I have similar issue, my car is basic model of Kluger 2WD GX model. This doesnt have GPS on dashboard, so where can I find the cable you mentioned? Appreciate if you can explain this. I called the Toyota Link hotline, they are unable to explain.
